To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, an elaborate light show is being staged in Nanjing. What was the idea of the Nanjing Light show and how was it built? On June 25, the Modern Express reporter interviewed the main creative team of the light show and revealed the creativity behind the light show.
100 beam lights illuminatered landmarks
It is understood that the design team of the Nanjing light show is mainly from the School of Design of Nanjing University of the Arts, Dean Jiang Jie led the team, teachers and students participated in the design, and finally presented an exquisite light show. Lu Yi, one of the designers of the light show and a teacher at the School of Design at Nanjing University of the Arts, explained their design concept to Modern Express.
Lu Yi told the Modern Express reporter that Nanjing is a city with a very close relationship with the party's century-old history. There are 165 red cultural resources in Nanjing, including Jiangmen, Yuhuatai, Nanjing River Crossing Victory Memorial Hall, Meiyuan New Village Memorial Hall of the Chinese Communist Party delegation... Behind each red landmark, there is a red story. Therefore, Lu Yi and the team hit it off and decided to take "lighting red landmarks" as the creative theme of the light show to present a gift for the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party.
The Nanjing Light show did not use too much light from the facade of the building, but used a longer, brighter beam of light. "The beams of light from the red landmarks are shining up into the sky, and when you look over the city, you can feel the red landmarks everywhere in Nanjing." In addition to the theme of the light show, the color of the light was chosen after several tests. Lu Yi said that a total of 100 light beams were used in the light show, which also coincided with the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.
In addition to the beam lights, in this light show, the Nanyang Art team also combined 100 posters with the theme of the centennial of the Founding of the Party that had been exhibited in the 520 graduation season of the school with lights, and staged a wonderful projection show on the facade of Nanjing Government Affairs Service Center and surrounding buildings.
The stunning "Yangtze River runway water landscape" has come
At the same time, around July 1, Nanjing citizens can also enjoy the Yangtze River runway in Jiangbei New Area (north of Pukou Pier) of the wisdom of the light water landscape. In the sound of music, the Yangtze River side lights and water curtain performance is amazing and shocking. With the cooperation of the light, the water column erupts from time to time, constantly changing its shape, just like a collective chorus, sometimes beautiful, sometimes passionate. It is reported that the theme of this intelligent light water landscape is "the Song of the Yangtze River", designed by Zhongchuang Huanyi Technology Group. Xu Jilai, head of Zhongchuang Environmental Art Technology Group, told the Modern Express reporter that unlike the common musical fountain, the water landscape innovatively uses a slit nozzle and a large water curtain that can be lifted, and uses 24 sets of two-dimensional numerical control equipment that can be used on land to move the waterscape art to the land. In addition, the nozzle also uses a slit nozzle, which can be hidden in the brick surface, "all the nozzles are intelligently controlled, and will not affect public activities when not in use." The water is also stored underground, and all of it is purified according to drinking water standards to ensure the sanitation of citizens playing in the water." Xu Jilai said. It is understood that a total of 820 sets of water-type devices and 690 pumps are used in the water landscape. In addition, 72 sets of "jellyfish" have been installed, which can make the water change size and shape just like swimming jellyfish through intelligent adjustment system.
